River Run Inn, a Salida, Colorado bed and breakfast, was built in 1892 as the Chaffee County Poor Farm. Today it's listed on the National Register of Historic Places
and bears little resemblance to its humble beginnings. Now, renovated
rooms are elegant, wireless Internet is available and a gracious front
porch invites guests to relax and view the glorious Salida, CO
sunsets. A smaller back porch is a favorite for morning coffee and
watching hummingbirds. The Bed and Breakfast sits on five acres in the
country, so it is an ideal place for fun and relaxing group vacations. Our location on the Arkansas River,
with private fishing for our guests, not only makes it a peaceful retreat, but idyllic for the angler.
Currently, we are not serving breakfast to our overnight guests. |
